HEPHAESTUS GOD PROJECT

This is my project about the ancient Greek Gods.
The basic main gods and goddesses were 12 that lived on the mountain Olympus in Greece but there were far more in the history. To me greek mythology is so interesting and I am revealing a lot of personal emotions through this project. This is art and love.
''Hera, the goddess of women, marriage, and childbirth, she was known by the Romans as Juno. Homer gave Hera the epithet "ox-eyed" because of her large full eyes and described her as tall and striking. Hera was both sister and wife of Zeus, with whom she reigned on Mount Olympus.''
In this photoshoot I offered the character Hera to my mum. I felt that this role should be represented by a woman wiser and experienced and I could not not offer it to her. Hera is powerful, wise and at the same time kind. She may seem evil and strict by the mythical stories however I believe she was fair and deeply kind.
